Wizard is a proud member of the Remount team.

Berragoon Wizard was bred and trained by Charlie and Sarah Grills south east of Holbrook, and is a registered Australian Stockhorse. He is by Rosebrook Falute out of Berragoon Peppercorn. Wizard was born in 2002.

Wizard came to us as a two year old and is well travelled. He has lived in Bungendore, Sydney, Port Macquarie, Exeter and Longreach. He is very happy now he is based in the Yass Valley though he still loves travelling.

Wizard has a diverse background with experience in Pony Club, Polocrosse, camp drafting, team penning, show riding, showjumping and even droving. He once joined a droving team who took 1,500 cattle from Longreach to Lake Nash in the NT which took ten weeks………this was his toughest assignment.

Wizard loves people, carrots…….and his favourite country music artist is Slim Dusty.

Wizard lives at “Gunben” and loves helping out with the Remount Horsemanship Programs and occasionally competing at local camp drafts.
