Remounted is located in the Yass Valley NSW, approximately one hour drive from Canberra. Our visiting “Drovers” stay on site in the cottage or in comfortable camping accommodation with access to showers and a toilet.

No. Our instructors will tailor your tuition and partner you with a horse that suits your experience. Remount caters for beginners and experienced riders, and we guarantee you will learn new skills. All Remount instructors have decades of equestrian experience in a variety of disciplines, and all are happy to share their skills.
Remount is focussed on veterans and their families. Some programs are designated for families and some for individuals.

Remount is delivered at no cost to veterans and their families. All catering, on-site accommodation and tuition is complimentary.
Our team is all volunteer based and undergo a thorough training and induction program. They are committed to serving you in every way.
All your linen is supplied, and you will be eating three meals a day with breaks and snacks in between so no need to bring extra food.
